Why you should consider International Communication and Media as a Bachelor

As a student myself who studies ICM, I believe with the degree of International Communication and Media, you can work anywhere in the world. Having an international background means having opportunities that might have otherwise been inaccessible. Careers can range from communication management, to event organizing, PR, HR and even marketing.

Before applying for the program of International communication and Media, I did a lot of research about ThomasMore such as the cost, location, the teachers, and what the program of ICM is all about. The information was easy to find through campus open days, emailing the Stuvo department, and trying to contact current students and hear their thoughts about the topics I’m looking for. In the end, I did find that ThomasMore does offer cheaper tuition fees compared to many international universities across Europe, the location is perfect, as Belgium is the heart of Europe and it is easy to visit nearby countries, I did find out from current students that the teachers are always available to help you and they are very friendly. Although it did take time to finalize my choice, I did believe that ICM was the perfect program for me as I do like working on graphic design, designing websites, I love being in an international environment, and having the opportunity to work and study abroad wasn’t a bad idea at all. With this, you will also be able to see many of the future possible careers you can get in, and also my reasons of why I believe having a bachelor’s degree in international communication and Media is great.
